Ramola Bhar Charitable Trust is looking for a consultant for helping development of awareness material (Bangla and English) for publishing booklets.
Target Audience: School teachers, principals, and local activists for awareness on prevention of Child Marriage, Trafficking, Dowry, and Domestic Violence.

Requirements:
A strong background and experience in publishing reports and awareness material.

Required qualification:
Degree/ Diploma in Law/ Social Work/ Management.
Proficiency in Bangla don English language, both written and spoken.

Job Duration: Contract based (1 Month)

Fees: fees will commensurate with the experience in the relegated field.

Position for the post of Field Coordinator.

 Job Duration:  Contract for one year, renewal will be after completion of three months probation period.

Ramola Bhar Charitable Trust , Project : STOP practices a right based holistic approach with special focus on combating human trafficking in both curative and preventive ways by attacking all forms of violence against women and children in India and along the trans national borders of Nepal and Bangladesh.

In the year 2019 STOP has initiated for its community intervention in South 24 Paragana district in West Bengal with focus on combating of  contemporary forms of Slavery.  For this programme implementation ,STOP requires a Field Coordinator who can run the project with a team of social workers, counsellor, technical officers and field workers. . The responsibilities for the post are as  below:

The field coordinator provides support in the following areas:

 

  • Managing and implementing the project implementation process.
  • Identification and networking with various govt. and non govt. department/ organizations  for the purpose of effective programme implementation
  • Crisis management.
  • Conflict management between team members.
  • Regular reporting to the  HQ and updating the progress.
  • Assessment of various  vocational training centres.
  • Organising school training programmes  and regular follow-up with identified schools and ensuring  involvement of these identified schools in various activities.
  • Victim’s data collection from Police and other departments, if needed.
  • Facilitate monitoring visit from the HQ
  • Effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Managing field evaluation process.
  • Other duties, as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • MSW  / sociology from the  Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) accredited program / reputed university
  • Minimum of 2 years post-graduate experience.
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving, written and verbal communication, detail-oriented, multitasking, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent time management skills with an ability to set and meet deadlines.
  • Creative, innovative, and strategic thinking as well as the ability to work independently.
  • Knowledge on computer application

  • Report writing of each event.
  • Identification of people affected by contemporary forms of Slavery.
  • Development of case history of each beneficiary.
  • Individual file management of each beneficiary.
  • Assessment of clients’ needs, situations, strengths etc.
  • Identification of vocational Skill training centres for skill training .
  • Monitoring of skill training centres and   quality of the training
  • Coordination with field coordinator, Counsellor, technical officers and field workers.
  • Other duties, as assigned.

Expected Qualifications:

  1. Post graduate degree in social work
  2. Ability to conduct training programmes.
  3. Having I-2 years working experience  in social sector
  4. Networking with various govt. and non govt. organizations.
  5. Knowledge on computer application.

Field worker:

Job Duration:  Contract for one year , renewal will be after completion of three months probation period.

  1. Responsible for implementation of community level activities.
  2. Conducting community mobilization and ensuring community participation.
  3. Ensuring effective data collection ( community survey)and reporting
  4. Coordination and communication with field coordinator, social worker, technical officers and co field worker.
  5. Ensuring timely submission of reports and other program documents.
  6. Responsible for implementation of program activities at the grass root level
  7. Responsible for identifying gaps and ensuring that these are addressed in time.
  8. Victim’s identification and getting certificates from local governance authorities.
  9. Any other responsibility as may be assigned from time to time.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  1. Minimum Class X( ten) qualification
  2. Ability to write report in local language
  3. Having skill to convince others
  4. Leadership quality and experience in undertaking social projects .
