A session on Speaking Up and Seeking Help focused on helping children identify trusted adults, communicate their concerns and seek help when they feel unsafe or uncomfortable. Through interactive discussions using real-life examples and a short educational video, participants explored the importance of personal safety, recognising trusted adults and speaking up without fear. The session adopted a psychological awareness and confidence-building approach, encouraging children to express themselves and engage in open conversations about their safety.
Some participants expressed interest in having private conversations following the session, highlighting the importance of providing children with safe, supportive spaces where they can share their concerns and feel heard.
Key Message: Every child deserves to feel safe, respected, heard and protected.
